Call for Educational Workshops & Speakers | Request for Proposal (RFP)
As the Director of Business Education, I am excited to announce that we are currently accepting proposals for the upcoming 2024 Great Lakes Women’s Business Council’s Signature Events and Business Conference. Our focus is on curating a dynamic and insightful program that specifically caters to women business owners.
We are seeking proposals from experienced professionals who can offer business coaching labs and/or educational workshops tailored to women business owners. The signature events and business conference aim to address key topics of importance, including but not limited to:
Financial resilience and risk management: Sustainable finance practices, navigating economic uncertainty, data-driven financial analysis. Building contingency plans and diversifying revenue streams is important to mitigate risks in the uncertain economic climate.
Workforce Management: Attracting and retaining talent. Understanding employee needs and expectations for work-life balance, remote work options, and career development.
Leadership: Leading multi-generational workforces, navigating remote teams, fostering innovation and resilience.
Collaboration/Teaming: Building Strong Support Systems. Finding mentors and sponsors to provide guidance and support. Building a network of other women leaders for collaboration and peer learning.
Sustainability and climate change: Consumers increasingly demand eco-friendly practices. Businesses need to implement sustainable solutions and communicate their commitment.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I): Building a diverse and inclusive workforce is not only ethical but also improves performance and attracts talent.
Social responsibility and community engagement: Consumers connect with brands that align with their values. Businesses can demonstrate purpose through community engagement and social impact initiatives.
Cybersecurity threats: Increased online activity creates vulnerabilities. Businesses need robust cybersecurity measures to protect data and systems.
Embracing emerging technologies: Artificial intelligence, automation, and data analytics offer opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
Marketing and sales in a changing landscape: Understanding evolving consumer behavior and adapting marketing strategies to digital channels
Operations & Management: Supply chain optimization in a post-pandemic world, project management best practices, change management strategies.
If you have expertise in any of these areas and can deliver engaging and impactful sessions, we invite you to submit your proposal for consideration. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your knowledge and contribute to the growth and development of women in business.
